In the upcoming movie "Clifford the Big Red Dog," a young girl's love for a tiny puppy named Clifford makes the dog grow to an enormous size.
This film is directed by Walt Becker and is based on a screenplay by Jay Sherick, David Ronn, and Blaise Hemingway. The movie is based on the Scholastic book series "Clifford the Big Red Dog" by Norman Bridwell.
According to a review from Common Sense Media,
"It introduces Emily (Darby Camp), a middle schooler who's having trouble finding friends or comfort at either school or at home. Then she meets a magical animal rescuer who gives her a red puppy, Clifford, who quickly grows into a supersized dog in response to the size of Emily's love. In addition to the foreseeable mishaps that would occur for any owner of a 10-foot-tall red puppy in New York City, Emily and her uncle encounter a greedy genetics company that's trying to learn how to supersize animals."
Along the journey, Clifford affects the lives of everyone around him and teaches Emily and her uncle the true meaning of acceptance and unconditional love.
This is a PG movie and would definitely be a great movie to watch with family and friends. "Expect some mild action and potty humor, as well as -- almost certainly -- lessons about life and love," Common Sense Media advises.
