"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character, Dr. Stephen Strange, or as we all know Doctor Strange. "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is the sequel to 2016 "Doctor Strange." This film is the 28th movie in the MCU. It's scheduled to come out on May 6, 2022. The movie's budget was $200 million.

Directed by Sam Raimi and produced by Kevin Feige, this amazing film's main cast consists of Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Stephen Strange), Elizabeth Olsen(Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo), Benedict Wong (Wong), Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez), and last but not least Rachel McAdams (Dr. Christine Palmer).
Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Dr. Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens a portal to the multiverse. However, a threat emerges that may be too big for his team to handle. This threat is a witch who can control dark magic. Knowing that he can not protect the teenage girl America Chavez, who can travel through the multiverse himself, he asks Wanda for help. It turns out that she is the villain of the story.
Wanda is on a mission to get to the earth where her children, two boys: Billy (Julian Hilliard) and Tommy (Jett Klyne). But to do that she needs to have the power to travel the multiverse which is why she tries to kidnap America to drain her of the power.
