Christmas Craft Ideas for 2021
Well, Christmas is right around the corner, the holiday of merriment and joy, so let's see some easy and fun crafts that you can do to give some joy to those around you.
Here are some fun and easy crafts to do from Personal Creations to spread the Christmas joy!
Felt Christmas Ornaments
Craft felt, cut into 1″ wide strips (cut lengthwise so that they are as long as possible)
Glue gun (Set on low temperature)
Lollipop sticks (cut in half)
Embroidery floss and needle
Layer three strips of felt on top of each other.
Carefully roll up the layered felt, stopping to add a drop of glue every 3-4″ to help keep it secure and in place. Finish by trimming the ends and gluing down all three layers of felt.
To create a lollipop, glue a 3″ stick to the bottom of the candy swirl, and add a cute bow to the stick to finish it up. Use the embroidery thread and needle to create a hanger if desired.
For wrapped candies, take a 1.5″ long piece of felt, pinch it along one of the short sides, and attach it to either side of the candy swirl with a dab of hot glue.
The ribbon candy is the easiest to make! Take your layered stack of felt and fold it to create the ribbon shape. Cut a 14″ long piece of embroidery floss, and thread it on to the needle. Insert the needle through the entire candy ribbon (from the bottom to the top) and then back down again, leaving a large loop of embroidery floss at the top for hanging. Tie the ends together in a knot at the bottom and trim any excess floss. Alternately, you could also use the glue gun to secure each ripple of the candy ribbon.
Small pine cones
Mini dinosaur figure
Gold spray paint
Green spray paint
Hot glue gun
First, spray paint your dinosaur gold. Then paint the pinecones green, so that they look like mini Christmas trees.
Next, mark off about 5 mm of the edge of the wood slice with tape. Then cover the wood slice in glue and smother with fake snow.
When the glue has dried remove the tape, you should have a snow-free edge around the wood slice. This will allow for the glass cloche to sit nicely on the wood slice.
Work with your kids to create a craft that will provide them with hours of entertainment. Create the snow globe with winter characters, glitter, and tonic water, and use a blacklight to make it glow.
Next, using the hot glue gun stick your dinosaur figure and pine cone tree to the snow-covered wood slice.
Finally, just add the glass Nutella jar as the dome to finish off your Christmas cloche (dinosaur terrarium)
1/2 cup uncooked oats
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 to 1/2 cup red and green sugar crystals/sprinkles
5×7 clear cellophane bag
Carrots (healthy reindeer food)
Cookies for Santa
First, stir all the ingredients together and add them to a plastic bag.
Staple poem to the bag at all four corners.
On Christmas Eve, sprinkle the reindeer food outside and recite the special poem!
And that's all! Be sure to have some fun and create any of these joyful crafts for your friends and family or just for decoration this Christmas.
