Film Preview: 'Breakthrough'

"Breakthrough" is an upcoming drama film that is being released in April. It is based on a true story involving a young boy not too long ago.

In the film, a young high school basketball player is hanging out with his friends on a frozen lake. The boy and his friend do as they are told and proceed to get off the Lake.

The ice begins to crack, and the boy falls in the lake, causing his friends to immediately go running for help. The rescue team spends 15 minutes looking for the boy until they finally find him.

He is then was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he fights for his life. The doctors give up on him, but his mother tells them to not give up and fight as hard as her son.

The main actor is Marcel Ruiz, an american actor who is new to the acting career. His film/television series are "One Day at A Time," since 2017, and his most recent film is "Breakthrough."

Another actor that is known in this film is Tropher Grace, an American actor. He is known for playing Eric Forman in the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show" and Eddie Brock / Venom in Sam Raimi's film "Spider-Man 3."

The director of this film is Roxanne Dawson, an American actress, producer, director, and writer best known as B'Elanna Torres on the television series Star Trek: Voyager.

The film is rated PG. The film was rated by the critics on IMDb due to language and some scenes.
