Three of the most anticipated shows of 2019

2018 came in strong with many great shows, but 2019 is coming in with some amazing shows to maybe even top those of 2018.

It'd only be right to include this show at number one, seeing as it has a strong fan base and could easily be seen as the best show out now: the six-episode, final season of "Game of Thrones." Seeing as the show following is huge, I cant summarize the entirety of what happened in season seven, as there was a whole lot that took place in a short amount of time. However, a quick rundown is that Jon Snow and Daenerys team up, Sansa, Bran, and Araya are back together, the Night King throws an ice spear at Viseron during their battle north of The Wall, killing him - and as if it couldn't get any worse - turning him into a zombie dragon.

At number two, we have "The Umbrella Academy." When it was released earlier this month (Feb. 15, 2019), it soared, landing a 73 on Rotten Tomatoes. With the name taken from the comics but the plot created by Gerard Way, six siblings who don't get along too well have to work together to help save the world from an unknown evil. That is not mentioning that all but one has a special power that follows them through life. As an adaptation from the comics, many fans are pleased with how "The Umbrella Academy" turned out.

Number three is season three of "Stranger Things." Even though some fans didn't entirely like season two, they still believe that this season is going to be huge. With more theories than one would think possible, many would say the release won't come soon enough. With season two ending with a bittersweet moment between Mike and Eleven dancing together at a middle school dance, it all ends too quickly as we see a strange creatures shadow overtake the whole school.
