'Hamilton' returning to Atlanta in 2020

The Broadway show "Hamilton" will return to Atlanta on March 31, 2020. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Atlanta snagged the Lin-Manuel Miranda phenomenon less than two years since its May 2018 debut."

Although there's a start date for Hamilton, specific dates for all showtimes haven’t been announced. According to the vice president of Broadway in Atlanta, Russ Belin, " “Atlanta is a city that they love and they wanted to get it back quickly.” In his quote, he's referring to all actors and actress. Belin is in charge of bringing the show back to Fox theaters and assures that it'll be a "multi-week engagement."

The Alexander Hamilton-themed musical is very popular, says Belin. Belin sold 100,000 tickets in a city of 5 million. He predicts the shows will be sold out.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "the announcement of 'Hamilton’s' encore appearance was part of Monday’s unveiling of the Broadway in Atlanta 2019-2020 season, which also includes inaugural runs of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'The Band’s Visit,' 'Summer: The Donna Summer Musical,' 'Anastasia' and the triumphant revival of 'Hello, Dolly!'
