Ultra-powerful 2020 Chevy Silverado announced
The brand new 2020 Chevy Silverado is the newest addition to Chevy's trucks. The Chevy creators say, "it's the most powerful and advanced Chevy so far."
The truck was just announced at the live show that took place on Feb. 2, 2019, in Los Angeles. The viewers were shocked when the company revealed its newest model of the Chevy Silverado. The presenters showed the "High Country" model or version of the truck; however, there are five different models to the Chevy truck.
First, you have the work truck meant for off-road and heavy duty work. The current model is priced from $34,400, but the price will increase for the other models of the truck. "The other pricing of the other models haven't been released, but will be soon," according to Kelly Blue Book.
There also also different engine sizes. First is the 2500 HD, which comes with 450 horsepower. This allows the truck to have massive towing capability: it maxes out at 35,500 pounds. This was shocking and appealing to most viewers, which is what the Chevy creators wanted.
There is also the 3500 and 4500 HD models, which have the same towing capacity but much more horsepower. The 3500 clocks in at 500, which is most popular for its roaring engine: "The truck is basically made to so off to your friends and family," according to Kelly Blue Book.
Finally, there is the 4500 HD, which has a whopping 600 horsepower. This engine was made to get out of any situation you may encounter. Some viewers and critics thought the truck was overpowered; however that was Chevy's idea for the "monstrosity" of a truck.
The company still has to work on some of its plans for the truck; however Chevy announced that the truck will be up for sale in mid-to-late 2019.
