Mike Carey publishes new book, "Someone Like Me"


Mike Carey, also known by his pen name M.R. Carey, is a British author of comic books, novels, and films. Recently, Carey published a book called “Someone Like Me.” The book is 500 pages long, and the genres are thriller, horror, mystery, fiction, and fantasy.

According to Goodreads, it’s about a girl named Liz Kendall who is a gentle woman. Liz is a devoted person when it comes to bringing up her kids the right way even then things get hard. It seems she is that type of person who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

It turns out, however, that Liz has another side, a bad side, that is trying to take over and have complete control over her body. In other words, Liz has a Split Personality Disorder with two personalities.

According to webmd.com, “A Split Personality Disorder is another word for Dissociative identity disorder which is characterized by the presence of two or more distinct or split identities or personality states that continually have power over the person’s behavior.

According to Goodreads, the other side of Liz is one which is "is dark and malicious. A version of her whowill do anything to get her way, no matter how extreme or violent. And when this other side of her takes control, the consequences are devastating."

In addition, Goodreads says, “The only way Liz can save herself and her family is if she can find out where this new alter-ego has come from, and how she can stop it.”
