Obama and Trump dispute over "birther conspiracy"
According to Fox News, former first lady Michelle Obama writes in her new upcoming book that she'll never be able to forgive Trump for his allegations about her husband and former president of the United States. For years, Trump spread rumors that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.
On Friday morning, Nov. 9, 2018, Trump responded to Obama's book. According to President Trump, "I’ll never forgive him for what he did to our United States military by not funding it properly … it was depleted."
A source from Fox News says, "In her memoir, "Becoming," Michelle Obama reportedly derides the so-called 'birther' conspiracy as thinly-veiled racism." In her book, Michelle also accuses Trump of jeopardizing her family's safety.
Michelle's book is primarily a biography, and reportedly expresses her details about President Trump. According to a statement made by the Associated Press, " She says she reacted in shock the night she learned Trump would replace her husband in the Oval Office and tried to block it all out." On the release of Michelle's book, she will be going on a 10-city book tour starting in her hometown, Chicago.
During the 2016 President election, Michelle criticized Trump's body language. She stated that Trump followed Hillary around the stage and stood way too close in order to "diminish her presence." Also, she criticized him for the “Access Hollywood” tape made in 2005.
