STEM Night to be held in Bainbridge
STEM Night will be on Nov. 13, 2018, at the Kirbo Center in Bainbridge, Ga. There will be different games to participate in, as well as barbecue plates you may get for free.
STEM Night is celebrating 30 years of service to our corner of Southwest Georgia. The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. that Tuesday.
Representatives from STEM-related careers will be at the event to talk to students. There will also be volunteers who will be helping students from different areas with the activities being held at this event. STEM is providing barbecue plates for the first 300 people who attend this event.
Here below are some representatives who will be attending the STEM Night:
Ag-Pro/John Deere Dealers
GPS & Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory, Auburn University, Troupe Tabb
There will also be representatives from other colleges attending the event, such as Auburn University, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and Southern Regional Technical College. Also, the Superintendent of Georgia State Schools, Richard Woods, will be attending the event as a special guest.
There aren't any age requirements for the activities that will be held. However, the events could be complex for some individuals, due to the fact that some have to be completed in 10 minutes or less. They will also have activities where participants may build and design anything they can imagine.
