77th annual North Florida Fair to be held in Tallahassee
The North Florida Fair is located in Tallahassee, Fla., and will take place Nov. 8-18, 2018. You can buy tickets at Shell stations or online starting November 8. The fair will be sponsored by Refreshment Services Pepsi and Publix Super Markets Charities.
General admission and unlimited rides will cost $25 all together. The Super Saver Pass will be $18, and will be sold starting November 8, as well. The Super Saver Pass includes general admission and unlimited rides but can only be used Thursday, November 8 or Tuesday, November 13.
There will be entertainment opportunities throughout the fair which will be free with paid gate admission. The entertainment includes the following: Show Me Swine Racers, Kuriosity Planetarium, Pittman Magic Show, Anastasini Circus, Butterfly Encounter, and Entertainment Stage.
According to Northfloridafair.com, the Kuriosity Planetarium is the solar system brought to you. The Butterfly Encounter is a walk through exhibit that shows the life cycle of an egg to butterfly. The Show Me Swine Racers is pigs racing. "These little piggies are always a crowd pleaser!" the website says.
According the fair website, there will be camp sites at the fairground for RV's. All types of RV's are acceptable on the camp site. As of now, the current price is $30 per night for each RV.
A source says, "Up to 450 units, the fairgrounds offers 2-12,000 square foot, climate controlled buildings for meetings and workshops; ample tables, chairs staging, picnic tables, daily trash pick-up, shower facilities, screened in porches for BBQ’s or other outdoor cooking."
