Annual 'Howl-O-Ween' event to be held at Thomasville Dog Park

There will be a "Howl O Ween" event at the Thomasville, Ga., Dog Park on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Howl-O-Ween will be free for anyone who would like to participate. This is an annual event held in Thomasville.

Many new prizes and games will be set up for animals and their owners. Pet adoptions, face painting, and pet photos are a few of the many activities that a pet owner and their pet can participate in.

Bark Busters will also have an obedience Training demonstration during the Howl-O-Ween event this weekend.

Thomasville Fire Rescue and Thomasville Police Department will be handing out "tricks and treats." The TPD K-9 unit will also demonstrate by going through the dog agility course.

A costume and tricks contest will be held at 12:30 p.m., so wear your best and funniest costumes. A "Boo-tiful Pet Parade," "Silly Pet Tricks," and a "Dance-A-Thon" will also be happening at the Thomasville Dog Park.

The Howl-O-Ween was sponsored by the City of Thomasville Community Relations in conjunction with the Thomas County Humane Society. All dogs must be over six months old and with all their annual shots and vaccinations.
