Hip Hop artist 'Post Malone' involved in car accident
Luck doesn't seem to be on hip-hop artist Post Malone's side lately.
23-year-old Austin Richard Post, more commonly known as "Post Malone," was involved in a serious car accident on Friday morning, September 7, 2018, only two weeks after the tires blew out during takeoff on the plane he was traveling on.
Post's white Rolls-Royce collided with another vehicle at 2:41 a.m. on the corner of Doheny and Santa Monica Boulevard, in West Hollywood, Cal.
Sergent Franka Diana, of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department, confirmed to Fox News that no alcohol was involved, and no injuries were sustained in the mishap.
The collision is being ruled as a traffic accident.
Following the incident, Post was seen taking pictures and chatting with on-site police authorities while the vehicles were being towed away.
The crash comes only two weeks after the "Rockstar" singer's near-fatal plane accident. The plane was departing from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey when two of the tires popped, mid-takeoff, on Post's private plane..
He was on-board with 14 other passengers traveling to London England to appear at Reading and Leeds festivals.
The plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Stewart International Airport in New York City after originally attempting to land in Massachusetts. He was met by local authorities, ambulances, and thousands of fans, cheering at his safe arrival.
Post is set to perform next at the first ever "Posty Fest" on Oct. 28 in Dallas, Texas. The festival will be headlined by Travis Scott and will also include a performance from Tyler, the Creator.
