Kwik-e-Mart comes to life

The Kwik-e-Mart is coming to the real world.

The famous convenient store from the long-running animated TV show “The Simpsons” is permanently setting up shop in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

And yes, it's an actual convenient store.

Fans can now eat “Simpsons” themed foods and purchase memorabilia from the show. The inside of the store features the catchphrase “Thank you, come again!” made popular my fan favorite character, Apu, who runs the shop in the show.

An Aztec movie theater, also based on the one from the television show is set to open right next to the current Kwik-e-Mart next year .

A similar experience at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., offers fans a chance to be a part of the cartoon world with an entire section of the park dedicated to the "Simpsons." It contains themed arcade games, restaurants, and actors dressed like characters. It also contains a 3D dark-ride attraction.
