Vehicle Preview: 2019 Chevy Silverado

The 2019 Chevy Silverado is now new and improved with its new interior and exterior. Its engine as well as almost every other aspect of the truck has been upgraded.

There are eight different models of the truck. There is the "High Country" model that starts out at $29,795. The most expensive and popular model is the top-end High Country luxury model, which is a whopping $62,290. All of the trucks come with a touch-screen and a back up camera. What makes the truck so expensive is the engine size or the horse-power.

Some of its upgrades are its "supremely quiet cabin," according to the official Chevrolet website. It also has new suspension, as well as its chassis. Like most new models, it has its downfalls, as well. Some of them are that the 6.2-liter engine is available only on luxury trims and that the Limited trim has a 2.7-liter turbo engine.

It travels 14 mpg (25 mpg highway) with a 35 gallon tank, that's 490 miles with a full tank of gas. Some may say that's not very good gas mileage, but for a truck this popular it could be, and that's just the first model. The "Custom" model come with 25 mpg with a 50 gallon tank, that's 1,250 miles to a full tank.
