Khloe Kardashian starts new athletic line
Khloe Kardashian started her own fitness clothing line on Thursday, August 2, 2018, according to Fox News. Kardashian said in a tweet that her line has been in the works for over a year, according to Refinery 29.
Good American is a denim-focused company, but Kardashian wanted something more than just jeans. With help from the co-founder, Emma Grede, the two women made it happen.
“Khloé wanted to do activewear from the beginning,” Grede told Page Six. “I have to give her that credit! Activewear is what she lives in, so she really came into this knowing exactly what she wanted.”
The size ranges for the athletic line is XS -4X, and the clothing is either black or white. The two women made it that way so it would fit in with everyone’s closet.
Kardashian and Grede chose carefully whom to model their designs. They chose Stephanie Rice; Tara Lipiniski; Mychelle Johnson, an NCAA star; and U.S. Army and personal trainer, Frantzesca Casimir.
Grede told Refinery 29, "Our goal is always to provide women with wardrobe staples, pieces we know they are wearing in their busy daily lives and ones that make them look and feel their best. We want women to know that when you come to Good American for anything - denim or activewear - you don't need to worry about it fitting."
Good American was launched in October 2016, and offers pants sizes 00 to 24. The company is plus-size friendly and does plus-size friendly campaigns.
Although the company is making clothes for all sizes, the price ranges for the clothing are very high. The price range is definitely above $50 for every item on the online store.
