Song Review: 'God's Plan' by Drake

Drake has always been known for caring for people and having a good time. "God's Plan," which came out earlier this year, has an energetic beat that has a lot of bass to it as well.

On Feb. 16, 2018, Drake released the music video to '"God's Plan." In the video, it shows Drake giving money and many more things to give people opportunities to have a good time. The footage for the video was of Drake actually giving away $999,631.90 to people in Miami.

He took this chance in Miami giving toys to children, scholarships to students; he gave people the chance to go on a shopping spree, groceries to people in a store, cars, and stacks of cash to struggling families.

Overall, the song and video let people remember what life is about. Life is about loving and giving back to the community, and Drake has a good idea of that.

Some of the song's lyrics are the following: "God's plan, God's plan I hold back, sometimes I won't, yuhI feel good, sometimes I don't, ayy, don't I finessed down Weston Road, ayy, 'nessed Might go down a G.O.D., yeah, wait I go hard on Southside G, yuh, wait I make sure that north-side eat And still Bad things It's a lot of bad things That they wishin' and wishin' and wishin' and wishin' They wishin' on me Bad things It's a lot of bad things That they wishin' and wishin' and wishin' and wishin' They wishin' on me Yuh, ayy, ayy."

Through these lyrics, he is showing strength and hope for the world even though people are trying to stop it. Drake isn't the only one taking action and giving back these days; there is also Chance the Rapper, Nicki Minaj, and Dr.Dre. The world is looking for a change and it is starting now.
