Film Preview: 'The Hurricane Heist'

"The Hurricane Heist" is an upcoming action/adventure film that is set to be released on March 9, 2018. The film is based on a hurricane hitting a rural town in Alabama where $600 million is stashed.

In the film, a team of tech hackers plan to rob a U.S. Treasury facility during a hurricane. Most of the people who heard of the hurricane fled to a safer area. The only people who stayed were a meteorologist, a treasury agent, and the meteorologist's ex-marine brother. Together, they have to survive the storm and stop the hackers from stealing the stash.

The director is Rob Cohen, who is mostly known for creating and directing "The Fast and The Furious." He has also directed films such as "xXx" and "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor." One of the more well-known actors in the film is Maggie Grace, who started in the "Taken" series and also the "Twilight" series with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

The film will be available in its original format only; it will not be available in 3D or IMAX 3D. If you are looking to see this film, you can go to Thomasville, Ga., or Tallahassee Fla. movie theaters to see the film yourself.
