Ford releases 2018 Mustang
On Jan. 17, 2018, the 2018 Ford Mustang was released. With multiple updated features, Ford believes that this is the best Mustang yet. The redesigned features up front include a redesigned bumper, a lower leading edge of the hood, and horizontal turn signals.
According to Forbes, this is the latest Mustang redesign since 2013; before that, the last redesign occurred in 2005, when the "retro" design was brought back. Overall, the new model appears to be more streamlined, flatter, and stretched out than previous models.
The new Mustang release has its pros, as well as its cons. It has better details and customizations that come with the car. However, the engine has been down-graded from it's 2017 model: "As expected, the naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6 engine has been dropped from the Mustang lineup," according to Digital Trends.
The new Mustang comes in two different models/styles. There is the 2018 Mustang GT Fastback and the 2018 Mustang GT Premium Convertible; the GT Fastback is also available in premium, as well. The GT Fastback costs $35,095, and to get the premium version, it would be exactly $4,000 more. The premium convertible is the most expensive, at $44,595. They all come with a 5.0 L V8 engine and 460 hp, as well as the same transmission.
