The strengths and weaknesses of Tom Brady

On the evening of Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, the New England Patriots earned a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 24-20. The victory sends the Patriots to the Super Bowl for the eleventh time.

The New England Patriots quarterback is Tom Brady. He made six touchdowns and threw five interceptions in the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brady’s weakness is that he does not run the ball; he just throws it. Over the course of his entire career, he has averaged just 1.7 yards per rushing attempt. This year, he has 25 attempts for a total of 28 yards, according to NFL.com.

Although he is no runner, Brady is an excellent passer. One of his strengths is his ability to use his eyes to throw off defenders. He also is very accurate as a passer and can fit short passes into small spaces. For his career, he has a completion percentage of 63.9 percent; this year, that number is even better at 66.3 percent.
