Missing Texas sports reporter found

Courtney Roland disappeared Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, after covering a Texas A&M elite football camp in Houston for Rivals.com. She was found at 9:15 ET the next morning, while walking under an overpass towards a Chick-fil-A. She was unharmed but disoriented.

Officer Manny Cruz said, “She doesn’t remember everything.” According to CBS News, police said they believe Roland became confused from a reaction to medication she was taking. She is currently in a local hospital with her family.

Her family became concerned when she texted her roommate on Sunday about a suspicious man that followed her home in a blue truck.

Roland was supposed to meet up with her roommate but never showed up; her roommate reported her missing around 5:30 local time. Her white jeep was found Sunday night near the Galleria mall, and her phone and other items were inside the vehicle. Her purse was found in a nearby business.
