Recap: Tigers defeat Bulldawgs 40-17

On Nov. 11, 2017, the Georgia Bulldogs played the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala. The kickoff began at 3:30 p.m., and the Tigers beat the Bulldogs with a final score of 40-17.

The Bulldogs quarterback, Jake Fromm, threw for 184 passing yards, but his completion percentage was the lowest of the season, and he was also sacked four times. Nick Chubb, who is a senior running back for the Bulldogs, only had 27-yards, by far his worst game of the season. He did score a touchdown, though, along with wide receiver Riley Ridley. The kicker for the Bulldogs, Rodrigo Blankenship, also made a field goal.

Kirby Smart says, “I am the one responsible for what we just did,” according to Bleacher Report.

The Tigers quarterback, Jarrett Stidham, completed 214 passing yards in the game, and Kerryon Johnson, the main back for the Auburn Tigers, rushed for 167 yards. Johnson also scored two touchdowns: one rushing and one receiving. Wide receivers Ryan Davis and Darius Slayton also scored touchdowns for the Tigers.

The Georgia Bulldogs will be playing the Kentucky Wildcats next. The game will begin at 3:30p.m. and will be held at Sanford Stadium. Meanwhile, the Auburn Tigers will be playing the Louisiana-Monroe WarHawks at 3:30p.m., at home in Auburn.
