College Football Preview: Georgia vs. Florida

The Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators will be playing on Oct. 28, 2017. The game will start at 3:30 p.m. and will be held at the EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Bulldogs are undefeated with a 7-0 record, and Florida has a 3-3 record. Florida lost the first game of their season against Michigan. They have also lost to LSU and Texas A&M.

Georgia has lost for the last three games against Florida, and last year their record was 8-5. They have really stepped up their game in this short amount of time.

The final score last year between Florida and Georgia was 24-10. The Gators were very confident they would get the win, especially since they beat the Bulldogs the previous year. It was a heart-breaking defeat for Georgia; they were hoping to get the win.

Most sources, including, oddshark.com, have Georgia as a favorite to win by as many as two touchdowns. FoxSports, on the other hand, says that “Florida is favored to win, with a 52.5% chance of victory in Jacksonville, Fla.”

Leading up to the game, some Florida players have been taunting the Georgia team. Defensive back Chauncey Gardener called out Georgia's freshman quarterback, saying that anyone can throw "simple" slant passes, according to sbnation. His teammate Josh Hammond also poked fun at Georgia for losing the past three years.
