Recipe: Easy peanut butter chocolate fudge

It's coming near the time where our ovens will be warm and our bellies full: Christmas and Thanksgiving are getting increasingly closer everyday. Holidays such as these are times where families and loved ones come together, share meals, and catch up on family stories and joyful banter.

Desserts are the most exciting part of dinner. Just ask any kid! I've tried out a few recipes for these get-togethers, such as pies, cakes, and cookies, but none were as good as this peanut butter fudge I've just recently discovered. The sweet treat is easily made and tastes heavenly. This little piece of heaven only requires three easy-to-get ingredients: 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk, three cups of peanut butter chocolate chips, and half a stick of butter.

The instructions are simple as well. First, place all the ingredients into a large, microwavable (preferably glass) bowl and pop into the microwave. The actual cooking process consists of five sets of one-minute intervals; every time one interval ends, take the mixture out and stir. In other words, once the ingredients above are placed in the bowl, put it into the microwave for a minute, take it out and stir, and repeat four more times. After everything is melted and stirred properly, pour the fudge mixture into an 8 inch by 8 inch dish and let it sit in the refrigerator until it completely hardens to a fudge-like state.

Ta-da! You have an easily-made, delicious, family-ready dessert.
