Lego to release largest set ever
The new, updated Lego "Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon" set is an updated model of the 2007 edition which had 5,195 pieces. The new set contains 7,541 pieces and has the most expensive price tag on a Lego set ever, at $800. The new set will be available in stores on Oct. 1, 2017.
The new model is 33 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 8 inches tall when fully put together. The new model is a replica from the 2015 film "StarWars: The Force Awakens" and has a reversible design, which allows fans to change the set to look like the new Millennium Falcon or the older Falcon from the original series.
The model will contain all the original mini-figures from the original series, including Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and "C-3PO." Lego also added mini-figures for the new movies, including Rey, Finn, "BB-8", and older Han Solo, as well as new models of Han and Leia from the original series with reversible heads. The set will also include two "porg" (sea bird creatures which will be seen in the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi") mini-figures and a "mynock" (bat-like parasite first seen in "The Empire Strikes Back").
In addition to the release of this new set, Lego will soon be releasing many other Star Wars-themed sets, including a Lego "BB-8" and a Darth Vader head, according to The Verge.
