Cowboys beat Cardinals 28-17
The Dallas Cowboys played the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 25, 2017 and won 28-17.
Quarterback for the Cowboys, Dak Prescott, ran for a 10-yard touchdown. Cowboys' wide receivers Dez Bryant and Brice Butler scored touchdowns on 15-yard and 37-yard receptions, respectively.
The Cowboys defense sacked Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer six times, including three sacks by defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.
A few minutes before half time, Prescott faked a hand off to Elliott and ran off right tackle. The Cardinals defensive back Justin Bethel met him at the one yard line and tried to tackle Prescott, but the latter used his momentum to flip and land on his feet in the end zone for a touchdown. "He's a physically tough guy and mental tough guy and amazing athlete," Cowboy's coach Justin Garrett told USA Today.
"One of the things we talk about all the time it's the foundation of our entire program is the word 'fight'. You just have to keep fighting. You have to keep battling," Garrett told USA Today.
