Movie Preview: 'The Maze Runner: The Death Cure'

“Maze Runner: The Death Cure” is being released on Jan. 26, 2018. The film is based on the main character in the series, Thomas, trying to find a cure to the deadly disease called the flare, which is turning the runners and his friends into flesh-eating zombies.

Thomas is played by Dylan O’Brien. He plays the leader of the group, or "runners." He has also acted in films such as “American Assassin” and “Deep Water Horizon.” The director of this film is Wes Ball; he has also directed the previous films in the series. He is not really known for any other films.

According to its Wikipedia, “It is the sequel to the 2015 film Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and the third and final installment in the Maze Runner film series.” The film was set to be released on Feb. 17, 2017, but was rescheduled for Jan. 26, 2018.

The film is based on the book of the same name, which was written by James Dashner and released in 2011. It is the third book he wrote in the series, but there were also two prequels written

The film will be available in 3D, 2D, and in IMAX 3D. The film will be rated PG-13 due to language and violence in the film.
