Ipsy Make-Up Bags

With Ipsy makeup bags you can choose the different types of makeup you wear or want to try. Once you start picking your bag, you go through a bunch of selections to make for your makeup.

You start with your skin tone: fair, light, medium, tan/olive, dark, or deep. After you select your skin tone, you pick your eye color: brown, hazel, blue, green, amber, grey, violet, or other. Next you pick your hair color: black, dark brown, light brown, blonde, red, grey, white, or other.

Then you pick how comfortable you are with wearing makeup, including whether you rarely or never wear makeup, like makeup and are willing to learn more, or are a makeup pro and never leave the house without wearing it. Now you pick which beauty brands you would love to try or you love to use; you have the options of forty different brands but get to pick multiple you would like to try out.

After that you pick out the types of makeup products you like the most, such as mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner, brows, lipstick, liquid lipstick, lip gloss, lip plumper, lip liner, primer, concealer, foundation, tinted moisturizer, powder, blush, highlighter, bronzer/contour, and brushes/tools.

Now you can pick out what types of skincare, haircare, and nailcare products you want to try or want to use again, like cleanser, cleansing oil, moisturizer, sheet mask, wash-off mask, exfoliant, serum, face oil, toner/mist, eye treatment, nail polish/care, hand cream, body scrub, body butter/lotion, self-tanner, lip balm, ache treatment, fragrance/perfumes, hair styling, and hair treatment.

Next you pick out the types of eye shadow you would use or do use, such as neutrals, smokey, blues, greens, plums, and adventurous. You also pick out what color/colors of eyeliner you wear: black, brown, plum, gold/bronze, and adventurous. Next you pick out what lipsticks you wear: reds, berries, neutrals, and adventurous. You also pick out nail polishes: reds, berries, neutrals, darks, pastels, and adventurous. Then you pick out blushes, pinks, peaches, mauves, neutrals, and adventurous.

You can choose the different fragrances you would like: fresh (citrus, lemongrass, aquatic, bergamot), floral (jasmine, rose, gardenia, violet), gourmand (honey, vanilla, caramel, cacao), spicy (cinnamon, saffron, clove, nutmeg), earthy and woody (sandalwood, amber, cedar, patchouli).

To help them pick your makeup products, you select the different stores you use to normally buy your makeup products. The different stores to choose from are Sephora, Ulta, Target, Wal-Mart, department stores, prestige retailers, online retailers, brand stores and sites, drugstores, and TV.

Now you pick out what your skin concerns are, such as redness, fine lines and wrinkles, oiliness and large pores, ache and blemishes, dryness and dehydration, and hyper-pigmentation. Then you choose how you would describe your hair type. The choices are “needs volume, extreme curl, dry and damaged, frizzy, and split ends.”

Then you create your profile and wait for your Ipsy bag to come in the mail. Each month you get a different bag with different make-up products. You would spend more money going to a store and buying the products you get for cheaper with the Ipsy bag for just ten dollars a month.
