Construction Worker Beat to Death with Crow Bar
According to investigators, on March 3, 2017, at around 9:00 a.m., a construction worker was beaten beat to death in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Investigators say the suspect beat the victim with a metal crowbar.
The investigators say the suspect was identified as Johnathan Schuler, who was arrested previously in 2006 and 2008, according to cbs12.com. The victim was identified as Arcenio Alvarez. Both men were 32 years old.
Investigators say the men were from two different companies on the construction site. The investigators think it was an “unprovoked attack” and “weren't sure if the two men had ever met before Wednesday,” according to wctv.com.
According to WCTV.com, “Schuler was a day laborer who was contracted only for the day”, and Alvarez was “employee of N&P Demolition, a subcontractor on the site.”
According to cbs12.com, “Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.”
