Tallahassee Bank Robbed by County Commissioner's Son
On Saturday, February 25, 2017, Jordon Proctor, son of Leon County (Florida) Commissioner Bill Proctors, was arrested for robbing a bank. Before being arrested for the bank robbery, he had tried to get change for a counterfeit $100 bill.
According to WCTV, Proctor was accused of robbing SunTrust Bank off South Monroe Street, in Tallahassee. After being denied by bank tellers for an altered check, “Proctor left irate.” The next day, he came back and robbed the bank at gunpoint.
According to Tallahassee Democrat, “the $1,000 check had zeros added to it.” Judge Stephan Everette of Leon County denied bond on two cases in Proctor’s first appearance Thursday. He has been charged with robbery with firearm, uttering, and forgery.
