Nissan GT-R Drone for Racing
Not having a way to film races and follow the cars, Nissan decided to build their own. According to slashgear.com, the 2017 Nissan GT-R Drone is able to keep up with most race cars. It’s able to go 0-100 km/h in just 1.3 seconds or 0-60mph in under 1.3 seconds.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R Drone is claimed to be one of the fastest in the world. While the drone is following the race cars, it takes amazing videos and pictures with great quality.
Nissan is known for its fast vehicles, but people aren’t too sure about flying. Unlike some drones, the Nissan flying quadcopter has a low drag canopy, and utilizes four propellers driven by 2000kV XNova motors. With these motors and the speed it’s capable of going, it can keep up with the 2017 GT-R race car, which is powered by a 3.8-liter 24-valve V6 engine.
In this video the drone was controlled at a safe distance to see how it controls and how well it works.
