Fashion Advice: How to Maintain a Lighter Complexion
Not a lot of people feel being pale is a good idea, and some people even feel that being pale is unattractive because for most people its not their natural skin color. Therefore, being pale for those people means a person may be sick or have something wrong with them.
I personally feel that having a naturally fairer complexion is beautiful, like all skin tones. If you have a fairer complexion and want to maintain your skin tone, I've done some research, watched a few videos, and even tried a few of these things myself to see if they work, and here is what i found out.
If you want to have a fairer, lighter skin tone, you have to avoid sunlight, tanning cream, and anything that will cause your skin to get darker than it already is. Always make sure to wear sunscreen when you go outside, since fairer skin tones are more prone to sunburn and sun damage. Try to find the highest SPF the store has, and drink plenty of water and stay hydrated, especially if you will using a body scrub or lighting mask. You should also have a skin care routine and exfoliate your face and body at least three time a week. Make sure to keep most of your body covered when you leave your house, and remember this will work for both males and females.
If you want to highlight your fair skin tone, you can use foundation a skin tone or two lighter then your natural skin color. This will also help keep the sun from damaging your skin and keep your face from tanning more than you wish. Make sure to blend the foundation out on your face and neck, or it will not look natural.
There is a face and body scrub that's very course and exfoliates your whole body. It's also non-toxic, but just do not get it in your eyes.
Things you will need:
Sugar (any kind works)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Something to stir with
Instructions: Add all the ingredients into the container and stir. You will need more sugar then the rest of the the ingredients. Measure it to what you will use it for, it works for body and for face, be gentle when applying it to your skin, and wash it off with warm to hot water afterwards. If you do not want lighter skin just do not use lemon juice and Parsley.
