On Saturday, January 21, 2017, the FSU Seminoles men’s basketball team defeated the Louisville Cardinals at home in the Tucker Civic Center. The game started at 2:00pm on ESPN with a final score of 73-68.
Before the game, Nicolas Russillo said, "Louisville is pretty good, definitely going to give us a good game, but I feel like we'll come out on top.”
Jonathan Isaac led FSU with 23 points on 7 of 9 from the field with a pair of triples and a perfect 7 of 7 from the foul line to go along with 10 rebounds and a massive 7 blocks for the double-double.
According to WCTV.tv sports, the “Seminoles are off to the best start in the school’s history.” They have won 18 out of last 20 games 16 of them at home. FSU Ticket Office Director, Jack Chatham said that the Seminoles haven’t had this many sold out games since he’s been there.
