NCAA Basketball: FSU Breaks Losing Streak
The FSU basketball team went into Monday night's game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers with the goal of breaking their eight-game losing streak.
In an interview, FSU guard Dwayne Bacon said, "I'm definitely caught up in it this year because we haven't beaten Minnesota the last three times we've played them." He went on to say, "I know the guys, especially the seniors want to beat them. We haven't won an ACC-Big Ten Challenge in seven years. so when the coaches point that out, it gives you more fight."
The team brought home a 75-67 victory thanks to Dwayne Bacon and freshman Jonathan Isaac, who are both currently averaging more than 15 points per game.
The next game for the team will be this Sunday at 4 pm in Washington, D.C., against George Washington University. The game will air on CBS Sports.
