2016 Christmas Movie Guide

Are you looking for Christmas classics this year to watch with family and friends?

Freeform's "25 Days Of Christmas" begins tonight, starting with "The Santa Clause." The selection of movies shown each year are very kid-friendly and are classics that everyone should see at least once. Others you won't want to miss include "The Polar Express," "Elf," and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." Fans of Jim Carey may also want to check out Disney's "A Christmas Carol."

Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" features original, holiday-themed movies and begins at the end of October and runs through Christmas. Some of the films that will be shown this month include "Every Christmas has a Story," which airs on December 12 and features Lori Loughlin of "Fuller House." "My Christmas Love," which airs December 17, tells the story of a woman who receives gifts from a mysterious man for all the "12 Days of Christmas."

On the other hand, if you're not planning on bringing young children, there are a few more mature, holiday-themed comedies this year, including "Almost Christmas," "Bad Santa 2," and "Office Christmas Party."
