Social Media Just For Rich Kids

This Thursday, October 27, 2016 a new app called "Rich Kids" with a slogan of “Being rich is boring when nobody sees you” was released in the Apple Store. It is unlike any other app that is free or 99 cents: you have to pay $1,000 a month for this one. The app is crowning itself as the “world’s most exclusive social network.” Basically, the app is separating itself from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by charging its users for premium membership.

"Rich Kids" can be downloaded from the Apple Store with the membership fee via Facebook login. The users who don't pay are still able to view and like the members' pictures, but only the members will be able to post their content to this social network.

The app was designed for the "privileged" people so that they will stand out apart from the other users. The app offers the opportunity for users to get new followers.

The network's creators said, “We created something different. A new social network where our members can really stand out and be visible in an elegant and meaningful way. Share their life with other users and build a true fan base.”
