Top 3 Halloween Movies: One Writer's Picks
It’s the middle/end of October - excuse me, "Monstober" - and I think we need to end this month off right. I think we should end it off by watching our favorite Halloween movies. The top three Halloween movies I love are "The Dollhouse Murder," "Halloween Town," and "Twitches."
"The Dollhouse Murder" is about a little girl who is scared. She heard noises coming from the Doll House. When she went to go check out the doll house, she noticed that the dolls weren’t where she had last placed them, but she tells herself “Dolls can’t move.” Every night when she goes in the attic to check on the doll house, the light flickers on by itself and the dolls start to move themselves as well. She starts to wonder if the dolls are trying to tell her something. The whole time the dolls were acting out the murder of her grandparents. I think you guys should check it out.
Next, we have "Halloween Town." There are three movies I believe, but the first one is about Marnie’s 13th birthday, when she finds out she’s a witch, discovers a secret portal, and gets transferred to Halloween Town. Halloween town is a magical place where ghosts, witches, and werewolves live apart from the human world. Marnie later on finds herself battling evil curses and endless surprises. The second movie is called, "Halloween Town 2: Kalabar’s Revenge." It’s about two witches, Marnie and her grandmother, who try to stop a villain who wants to change trick-or-treats into their costume characters. The last movie is called "Halloween Town High." It’s about Marnie and her grandmother trying to protect a group of students from the Legendary Knights of the Iron Dagger.
Last, we have "Twitches" and "Twitches Too." "Twitches" is about how twins finally found each other after being separated on their twenty-first birthday. When they got together, things started to get a little strange, so they decided to use the magic powers they have and save their kingdom from the forces of darkness. "Twitches Too" is about how the twins uncover evidence that their missing father is still alive.
I really think everyone should check out these three movies. I promise you won’t regret watching them!
