Green Day Album Review & Tour Info

StartFragmentGreen Day is a punk rock band which formed in 1986. Their music is a mix of pop punk rock, with some alternative rock. The current members are Billie Joe Armstrong, who provides lead vocals and plays guitars, piano, harmonica. Bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt has also been with the band since its earliest days. Tré Cool, who plays drums, percussion, and provides backing vocals, has been with the band since 1990.
They have done a lot of touring and just recently came out with a new album called "Revolution Radio." They first released the song “Bang Bang” on August 11, 2016, and the album was released later, on October 7, 2016. They are going to be touring in North America with Against Me in 2017. The first tour stop will be in Phoenix, AZ. The tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 14, 2016.

This album, in my opinion, is more of a personal album than their last one. Rolling Stone states in one of their articles, “it reflects decades of accrued emotional and musical wisdom,” while Entertainment Weekly calls it “their most focused album in years.” I agree with this, and I honestly feel they have put a lot of thought into this album.
My favorite songs from the album are "Somewhere Now," "Still Breathing," "Ordinary World," and "Forever Now."

"Revolution Radio Tracklist:
"Somewhere Now"
"Bang Bang"
"Revolution Radio"
"Say Goodbye"
"Outlaws"
"Bouncing off the Wall"
"Still Breathing"
"Youngblood"
"Too Dumb to Die"
"Troubled Times"
"Forever Now"
"Ordinary World"
I would give this album a 10 out of 10. They put a lot of work into this one because they got personal and worked hard. I just love how they mixed this album with a little soft/Alternative rock then went to pop rock. I really think you guys should go check it out.
