Fleetwood Mac "Mirage" Album review
Popular Classic Rock/Soft Rock band Fleetwood Mac just released a deluxe edition for their album Mirage on September 23, 2016. The album was first released on June 18, 1982. This album has been popular to rock lovers since. The deluxe edition features a remaster of the original album, 13 live tracks, b-sides, outtakes, and other songs that didn't make the final cut.
Fleetwood Mac formed in July 1967. From what I’ve heard about their other albums, this one is different. It's a good album in my opinion, and the lyrics flow better than I thought they would. It just seems there is more to the music and the meaning behind it than the band is letting out.
The album’s title basically means “an illusion,” so no one really understands why they named the album “Mirage.” This name is also different from the other albums, as well, because of the songs’ meanings and what it's all about.
My favorite song, and the song I recommend you listen to first is “Eyes of the World.” I really like this song, and I think you will too. I love how the song begins with a light guitar and acappella, and then after a few seconds it goes into a little more soft rock and continues from there.
I would compare this band to something like the Eagles. This is a really good band and makes great music.
Overall, I give the album a 4 out of 5. Though this isn’t my style of music, I enjoyed listening to something new.
