Georgia Woman Charged With Killing Husband
On Thursday September 15, 2013, a Kennesaw woman was charged on multiple accounts in the case of her husband’s murder, three years after the man’s body was found in his carport. Police determined that he was killed "under circumstances that indicate foul play” according to the AJC.
Sharon Davidson, 57, faces charges of felony and aggravated assault with intent to murder 60-year-old Frank Davidson. On April 22, 2013, officers were called to a home in the 3,500 block of Paul Samuel Road near Kennesaw. There were no new developments in the case until Wednesday, when the police arrested Sharon Davidson around 6:20 PM. Sharon was being held at Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
Also, when the cops were investigating the crime, a bullet was collected under the passenger seat of Davidson’s car. They tested for any finger prints to see if there was any evidence that Sharon killed her husband. That Thursday, Cobb County Police LT. Nathan McCreary confirmed that Frank Davidson died of a gunshot wound.
One of Frank Davidson’s homes was the scene of another homicide more than 20-years ago. A childhood friend of Frank’s, Robert Lee Bruce, was sentenced to life in prison for killing Davidson’s ex-wife in September of 1992. Bruce died in October 2012.
