Carving Creepy Pumpkins
One of the things you have to do this upcoming Halloween is get prepared to carve a pumpkin. Whether it be tall or stout, large or small you cant turn down getting your hands dirty. Now, one thing you will need is a pumpkin carving kit and a stencil of your choice. Be sure before you carve to remove the top and clear out all the guts and seeds. If you don't want to be wasteful you can save the seeds and guts to make delicious snacks.
I'm going to list a couple of spooky ideas below...
Everyone knows the traditional faces carved into pumpkins are some of the easiest to do, so I will show you a beginners stencil.
When you look at this carving you probably think to yourself no way is this easy but, in fact, all you have to do is carve out the black when the sheet of paper is taped to your pumpkin.
An intermediate carving would look like this...
The reason I consider this carving intermediate is because you have smaller portions to cut out and you have to be a little more careful when you cut, to make sure you don't accidentally carve out the wrong portion.
Last but not least is hard, and it doesn't come with a stencil either. Most of the people that make these do it by free hand.
I don't know about you but this carving is a little to realistic. If you have mastered pumpkin carving I challenge you to take on this project. it would definitely scare the trick or treat-ers.
