As the 2016 Olympic Games come to an end this Friday, we have the world standings with the United States of America in the lead with 46 gold medals, 37 silver medals, and 38 bronze medals total. China is the next biggest winner, with 26 gold, 18 silver, and 26 bronze. Great Britain ranks third with 27 gold, 23 silver, and 17 bronze, but this is to be expected with the United States coming in first, China in second, and Russia in third in the 2012 Olympics.
