Community works to help reopen Cairo Animal Shelter

Second Chance Animal Rescue (S.C.A.R) has officially closed in Cairo, GA, but the community is still actively working to bring it back. The past couple of years the Schools in Grady County has been collecting supplies like; dog food, toys, and other supplies to help the animals in the shelter. S.C.A.R is a no kill shelter to help abandoned kittens puppies and older animals to. Their purpose is to help every animal find a home and every person to find companionship. Here’s a list of the things they need in donations; Food Bowls, Blankets and Old Towels, Collars, Leashes, Kennels, Washing and Dish Detergent, Bleach, and Gloves. You can donate money too. We need S.C.A.R open again for the community because animals need homes too.
